The truth is if you don't supplement, I can almost guarantee that you're deficient in certain nutrients.
Sure you should be able to get all the nutrients you need by having 5 servings of fruits and vegetables a day. The problem is that the fresh foods you buy at the grocery store today contain only a small amount of the nutrients they once did. What happened, why can't I get those vital nutrients I need from my fruits and vegetables?
Mass production, picking produce before it is ripe and storage problems are some of the reasons. The fresh foods are not what they use to be. The bottom line is that you need more than your 5 servings of fruits and vegetables a day. Not to mention how many people actually get around to having the proper servings a day.
Today we live in a world that has so many environmental hazards we need to supplement if we want to live a healthy life. To be honest, whether we like it or not we have to supplement if we want to avoid all the diseases that are in our communities today.?
Also it is projected that these diseases will only begin to get worst over time. So if your one of those people who doesn't believe in supplementation, you may want to reconsider.
Ok, you made your point but I've seen those supplements out there and they are expensive. I don't know if I can afford to buy them. Is that the question you are asking?
Sure you have plenty of other things you could spend your money on, but should you also invest in your biggest asset? Yes I'm talking about you! Your means of making a living could be affected if your health will not allow you to work. The cost of supplementation is very low when compared to having a healthy body.
Health and fitness is what we all want, but the realization is that you have to do something about it. We need to eat healthy, exercise, get plenty of rest, and we must also use supplements. If you didn't put supplements on your list of priorities, I hope you now realize the importance of adding them to your diet.
