Adele trademarks her name to stop it being used for cheap perfume ...

IF you?re considering bringing out a new perfume called ADELE, you may get a letter from the singer?s lawyers.

The Londoner has trademarked her name to ensure it cannot be used as a brand name for perfume or jewellery.

A source said: ?She doesn?t want anyone exploiting her name by using it on products which may trick punters into thinking she?s involved with it.?

Having a trademark makes it easier to take legal action ? as if a foul-mouthed rant from the singer wasn?t enough to put people off annoying her.
